I don’t understand all of it my self, I am not a policy guru at all but nevertheless I still have questions.
1. Our war activities seem to expend a significant amount of money. How much would our budget be reduced if we decided not be in the wars?
2. Aren’t many Republicans a proponent of these wars?
3. Can Obama really be singled out for a budget that has many expensive programs and expenditures created by many of the other 43 presidents and congresses of the past?
4. Why is it that Democrats don’t want to see interstate selling of health care? Is this even truly a good solution?

Alright, so Kanye West shocked the entertainment world again with his antics. This time he took it out on a young women, Taylor Swift. I have to be honest I don’t know much about her, I don’t listen to her genre of music. She won the award, Best Female Video for “You Belong To Me”. Personally I don’t think there was anything remarkable about the video, I’ve seen this boy likes hot girl, but finally comes to his sense and kisses the quiet shy girl song and video before.  Beyonce video on the other hand I liked mainly because she is essentially saying “you want this? put a ring on it”. Good message! And the choreography was very sexy, difficult and thoughtful. With that said Taylor won.

But why did Kanye do it? Seeing Micheal Jackson celebrated at MTV in light of his recent death, brings to mind that with in many of our life time MTV wasn’t really about putting him on air due to his cultural background. Is this racism still alive at the upper level of leadership in MTV?

In my opinion I don’t have much of a reason to say it does with the exception of the token African Americans on Real World. Honestly MTV portrays African Americans in a better light than BET…at least MTV won’t be caught dead airing 666/Devil inspired “Soul Plane” every day or at all. With that said, something in Kanye West must be eating at him, he may be thinking “why does MTV sometimes see merit in certain artist, and at other times not”. Maybe the fame, and the millions of fans has corroded his judgment making abilities.

For me I think the sensible solution for Mr. West is to take some of his millions, and come together with like minded artists and entrepreneurs and build his own media empire. He has the money and the power. Create something that you truly believe honors the efforts of artists that truly progress your art form. I hate to see a talented brother like Mr. West allow him self to become the caricature that South Park, comedians, and others have taken and ran with. Mr. West by going on stage and taking the microphone from Taylor Swift, you ignorantly gave voice to all of those who hate you, me, and your art form. Make that kind of performance your last.

Like always as a sign off, please allow me to pimp my resume!

As I embark on my quest to master the art of Public Administration, I will have to keep this in mind. I believed that money was the core of human motivation, like many others I am mistaken. All is not lost, I do find solace in knowing that mankind/womankind creativity is a function of our ability to have dominion over our own time. Well I won’t give it all away…check it out. Be Blessed.

Today I got home, and my dad surprised me with a gift. It was a Samsonite Expandable Portfolio. Interesting, because I felt very unprofessional showing up to my last interview with an Apple branded notebook sleeve. I pray I get a call back from USC-Aiken. In the mean time the search continues.
Now excuse me while I pimp my resume!: http://drop.io/andregoodman

Well It’s been about a month since I have been out of undergrad, and I am still having a hard time finding a job. Everyone says this is a bad time for recent college graduates to find good jobs. They are sadly correct. I have put in for almost 70+ jobs since May. I have not heard back from anyone. I hold on to the hop that maybe the closing date for these jobs haven’t come up, but I’m not going to cont on that. In any regard I take the position that the more visible my resume is the higher propability someone will come across it and be interested in interviewing me. I am not pickey, I have the understanding that I must operate on a humble spirit.

Don’t not turn 21.

21 is nearing the close age where Military benefits expiration date is due.
21 is your parents excuse to tease you for still living with them.
21 is 12 backwards.
21 is a good time to walk across the stage with a degree.
21 is the age you should have voted at least for the last 2-3 years, No?…Shame on US.
21 is the age where “Can I see your I.D.?” becomes annoying.
21 is not a box that respect hides in waiting patiently for you.

21/2 doesn’t equal a whole number, so don’t expect to feel complete.
21 is the age where the previous statement should not confuse you.

If being drunk, or drunken is the goal set at 12 for 21,then you should go back to 12…you missed something along the way.

I am 21.
I am not 12.
I am not complete.
I am looking for the keys to the locked box.
I am not drunk, nor drunken.
I hope this doesn’t make any sense.

So my undergraduate career is almost over. I marched at the James Brown Arena May 9th, though I won’t receive my diploma until late June. I had to take one more class to complete my requirements. I am happy that everything ended up working out for me at Augusta State University. I plan to deliverer a more detailed account of my journey through college, but that will come at a later date.  Right now my main focus is to find full-time employment. I won’t be picky right now; I need to get my foot in the door. I have completed my resume, so your welcome to take a look at it Until next time, [?]

This is my first post on Word Press. I tried to set it up once before but gave up due to my lack of knowledge about servers and what not. Luckily ASU has this service (ASU Voices). Well here I go; I hope you enjoy!
